This approach involves modeling the rebar within dedicated authoring software platforms, as illustrated by Figure 06.
This process enables the calculation of rebar lengths and volumes based on the modeled geometry, thus determining the final weight by applying ratios to these dimensions, according to each material, as detailed by the equation below.
While this approach provides accurate rebar quantities, it's important to acknowledge that it requires a substantial amount of effort and energy.
Therefore, it's only recommended to be employed when required by the EIR or conducted by the reinforcement contractor for their own purposes.
